Northern Beaches Gets CPR friendly
Ian Hutchinson (‘Hutch’) knows what it’s like to be dead. In 2018, while out bike riding with his mate Don MacKee, he died, and remained clinically dead for 19 long minutes!
Unlike 91% of those who suffer a sudden cardiac arrest, Ian was fortunate to survive, thanks to Don and some quick thinking good Samaritan bystanders CPR skills.
Get CPR friendly in 60 minutes
Following his recovery, Don & Hutch founded CPRfriendly.org in memory of, and on behalf of, the 91% less fortunate that don’t survive. To help turn those statistics around, they are, through CPRfriendly.org, (a NSW Community Service Award winner) on a quest to get everyone CPR friendly and have more access to public defibrillators.
Practical & CPR friendly
Don & Hutch uniquely share their personal life-saving experience between them in a practical, but fun CPR friendly way that includes:
Practical, quick & easy CPR friendly skills
Creating good outcomes out of bad situations
Time-effective & productive defibrillator awareness
Heart smart community vision
